Core Process: Material Selection & Advantages

We craft our handmade sinks using SUS304 austenitic stainless steel, renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance. The 1.2mm plate thickness far exceeds the traditional 0.8-1.0mm used in stretching troughs, which ensures a longer service life of up to 75 years. By adopting a non-stretching production process, we preserve the steel’s molecular structure, maintain consistent thickness throughout, and eliminate weak points in the material, which ultimately enhances the product’s durability.

This approach, therefore, effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional methods. For example, we reduce the R angle to R10 (compared to R35 in traditional sinks), while simultaneously increasing the groove depth to over 220mm. As a result, we can maximize space utilization without sacrificing the original strength and toughness of the steel, which sets our sinks apart from conventional designs.

Precision Manufacturing Process

Our production follows a meticulously planned six-step process, ensuring that we achieve both precision and high quality at every stage. First, hydraulic equipment bends the stainless steel plate into a 90° angle. We then manually adjust the seam to guarantee perfect alignment, which helps prevent the uneven thickness typically caused by traditional stretching methods.

For the welding process, we use a dual-mode approach. Long, straight seams are welded with computer precision, while intricate areas such as R angles and buckles are welded manually by skilled craftsmen. This combination ensures top-tier quality, and the white oxidation line that forms during welding acts as a visible quality verification point for every unit.

Once the welding is complete, we repair weld marks in three stages: first, rough grinding to smooth the surface; next, fine grinding with a linear belt machine; and finally, full groove pushing sand to restore the brushed texture. This multi-step approach ensures a uniform, smooth, and durable surface that is highly resistant to scratches.

Furthermore, we enhance the sink’s functionality by adding an eco-friendly sponge pad at the bottom of the groove. This not only helps absorb vibration but also reduces noise. Additionally, we apply a water-based anti-condensation coating, which prevents moisture-related corrosion, ensuring that your sink stays in top condition for years.

Why Handmade Grooves Are Better

Handmade grooves offer distinct advantages over traditional stretched grooves, both in terms of performance and durability. By avoiding the stretching process, we maintain the steel’s molecular integrity, which prevents fractures that could arise from thinning. Furthermore, the uniform 1.2mm thickness, combined with precise welding, increases impact resistance by more than 40%, making the sink significantly more durable than conventional alternatives.

The hand-repaired brushed surface not only remains uniform but is also highly resistant to scratches, even after frequent cleaning with steel wool. While the production costs are higher—typically 30-50% more due to the skilled labor required—the long-term value justifies the investment. Consequently, our handmade sinks production equipment represents an excellent choice, where both performance and aesthetics are equally important.
